YHC gave the usual Wally Sprint disclaimer, “Runners run and stretchers stretch; push yourself stretch yourself, don’t hurt yourself. I’m not a trained professional.” Chain Link and Amazon DR from ATL joined the runners and Scantron kicked off the stretchers with knees over toes followed by stretches from yours truly. We discovered Charmin’s foot does not go vertical while in the runners stretch and we allow him to keep coming back anyway. We won’t leave you behind and we won’t leave you where we found you. We will, however, tease you relentlessly; where is Rudy when you need him!?

Good Time (although maybe too much) – from Charmin
Today was a good time
We picked up some we hadn’t seen in a little while
And also picked up some along the way
Also there were two runners
The last ruckers arrived back after 50 minutes to much ‘adulation’. -
That Frac’n Wally – from Fracsac
12 Pax posted to run or ruck, including 1 FNG courtesy of Off Balance and Kennah Brah.
All made it back for the CoT

Taking it to the Track! – from Charmin
For the first day in a week, the gate to the track and field was open. That being said, the ruckers intentionally took a path across the track to get out to the neighborhood, whereas the runners took their usual path out but could be seen taking advantage of the track towards the end of their run.
Overall it was a good time to be out in the Gloom.
COT focused on desiring to embrace the Cross, to unite our sufferings with those of Christ and realizing that part of life is suffering, but also being able to see through it to the Resurrection.

Run or Ruck Off… – from Bolt
9 pax heeded the call of the gloom…2 for running and 7 for rucking. We covered miles and F2 which makes Thursday all the more worthwhile, followed by Q Source.

Without a Mention of Pi Day! – from Bolt
They say March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb; Today’s brisk and windy gloom proved that to be true—48 degrees according to the car.
There was sprinting and stretching and most importantly there was accountability and brotherhood. As the COT disbanded, Frac mentions it is Pi Day; how’d we let that get by without weaving it into the workouts!? Enjoy ur quiche, Frac. -
Half and Half plus Mambi hits a streak – from Bolt
6 pax faced the gloom on this pleasant morning of the Mardi Gras season, 3 to run and 3 to ruck. Coincidentally, this makes 3 posts in a row for our most recent Kotter: Mambi which qualifies as a streak; well done and keep the streak alive! We are here for progress, not perfection and we are never “done!”

Another Limerick and a Joke – from Charmin
Rucker rucked and runners ran
But nowhere was my regional Nantan
Compared to Bolt us ruckers were slowpokes
But to make up for it, YHC told a joke
But but by the end, we were all a better manThe joke:
Two cowboys are riding through the desert and are running out of food
The first cowboy calls out because he sees a short tree with bacon hanging from it.
Delighted he starts running towards it. Before the second cowboy can react, the first cowboy is shot from out of nowhere.
The second cowboy, pauses and screams out, “That wasn’t a bacon tree, it was a ham bush!” -
Charmin Maniversary – from Charmin
Apparently today was YHC’s Maniversary; so to celebrate I have written a lymrick:
I posted in the gloom today for a ruck.
I chose this ’cause I knew running would suck
In total there were 9 runners
1 walker, and 3 ruckers
We are all thankful for F3 getting us unstuck -
Kenner-Brah Daylight Savings Time – from Charmin
Some came to ruck, some came to run, some came to walk, but all had fun.
Except for Kenner-Brah who showed up an hour late. Hopefully he shows up to his Q on time tomorrow.
