  • The Great 8

YHC was going to fall short by a tenth of a point in the ISI challenge for the month of May.  But yesterday YHC saw an opportunity to take the lead, but was careful not to taunt Shooter from the Northshore and chance getting crushed!  Those NS Pax are relentless!  YHC saw that Shooter was also Q’ing this morning, which meant a fartsack by yours truly was not acceptable.  Thanks for pushing me hard this month Shooter!

YHC was happy to see 7 others post at Okwata, 7 men committed to improve.  There were three shovel flags planted and the clock showed 0530, which could only mean one thing…..brief disclaimer….and mosey…

Mosey around the fountain, carioca left, then right, followed by butt kicks.  Circle up on the grassy area in front for:

    Warmup

SSH IC x 31 – Hawgcycle gave an explanation of why he uses 31 at Pontiff, which is a tribute to the number 31 worn by the great Wally Pontiff who sadly died too young.  YHC has a different reason for the 31, and that is a reference to the ship I served on in the US Navy.  It was the USS Strerett CG-31.

The Sterett was 547 feet long, with a compliment of 418 men.  I proudly served as part of her crew from December 1988 until April 1992.

1 merkin followed by 2 air presses (double shots) in the people chair against the barre.
    2 merkin……..4 air presses
    3 merkin……..6 air presses
    you get the idea
    10 merkins……20 air presses

Mosey to the House of Pain for Circuits
    Pair up, four stations
Station 1 – Bear Crawl up levee and complete 5 merkins, run back down (timer)
    Station 2 – Squats (AMRAP)
Station 3 – Step Ups (AMRAP)
Station 4 – Pull Ups (AMRAP)
    Rinse and Repeat

Mosey to a steep part of the levee for 11’s

1 Squat Okwata side, run up and over, 10 Burpees opposite side
2 Squat Okwata side, run up and over, 9 Burpees opposite side
You get the idea – always adds up to 11
10 Squats Okwata side, run up and over, 1 Burpees opposite side

The Pax seemed let down that YHC did not invoke the DirtyMacDeuce this day, and especially because this caused them to miss out on the wonderful Catalina Wine Mixers. YHC can’t leave the Pax wanting, so…

  • 21 Strong

After participating in the Tchoupitoulas Bar-A-Thon the night before with approximately a dozen other F3 Beer Champions, YHC did not want to get up and post, much less Q, at the Mothership.  However, the being held accountable part of the F3 creed sat front and center of my brain, right next to the hangover part.  YHC could not let my F3 brothers down.

YHC was eager to see how many other Bar-A-Thon patrons would post, but that thought quickly went away upon seeing Cruiser in attendance from Houston, aka New Orleans West according to Hawg.

With 4 shovel flags planted, YHC quietly set out some cones in the parking lot and returned to the group of 20 other men that had assembled.  The clock struck 0630, time for a disclaimer, which YHC did give contrary to what Triple Shift says……and mosey toward the Peristyle.  Some of the sprinklers were jetting out water on the already rain soaked Great lawn, so YHC was attempting to avoid it, but Rudy talked the Q into testing it.  So, circle up on the Great Lawn, but we wouldn’t be here long…..

    Warmup
    SSH IC x 31
    Hillbilly’s IC x 20
    Abe Vigodas IC x 10
    Peter Parker IC x 20
    Mountain Climber IC x 20
    Parker Peter IC x 20

Mosey to the strategically placed cones in the parking lot. Set up to mirror a basketball court, it was time for some suicides. Start at baseline, sprint to first line, sprint back and do exercise. Sprint to Half Court, sprint back and do exercise. Sprint to third line, sprint back and do exercise. Sprint full court, sprint back and do exercise. That’s one evolution.
First Evolution – 5 Burpees OYO upon returning to baseline each time.
Second Evolution – 5 Eight Count Body Builders IC upon returning to baseline each time.
Third Evolution – 5 Copperhead Squats IC upon returning to baseline each time.
Fourth Evolution – No exercises, just sprint to each line and back retrieving the cones.

    Mosey to trees near NOMA
Line up at the first tree, and bear crawl to third tree. Lunges IC x 10
Bear crawl from third tree to fifth tree. At this point, Rudy indicated a large pool of standing water near tree six that the Pax should engage. Looking back, YHC may have lost a great opportunity. Maybe next time…..
    Circle Up for Jack Webb
    1 merkin, 2 air presses
    2 merkin, 4 air presses
    You get the idea
    10 merkins, 20 air presses
Kong walk from fifth tree back to third tree, Squats IC x 10
Duck walk from third tree back to first tree, Monkey Humpers IC x 20

Mosey to the fountain by NOMA. The regular Cross Fitters were on the steps doing Burpees, which the Pax began to critique. YHC decided to stay off the steps this day, we don’t need a West Side Story BB……
RL Step Ups IC x 20
    Freak nasties IC x 20
LL Step Ups IC x 20

Mosey to the narrow strip of grass in front of NOMA and elbow plank up in two columns.
Pax Bridge Jumps. Last man jumps over each Pax and assumes plank position in the front. Each Pax does 3. Although there were two teams, there was no competition here, YHC just wanted to equally spread the suck around. Speaking of Suck…
Mosey back near the standing water that continued to call to Rudy for “The Suck”

Three minutes of the following exercise over and over again
    7 SSH
    7 Merkins
    7 Squat Jumps
The Pax said something about it being 6, but YHC stood his ground. This day would suck that much more…..
YHC lost count, so not sure how many rounds were completed.

Mosey back to the road in front of NOMA and line up in the two columns again for a two column Indian Run back to the Flags. Upon arriving at the flags with one minute to spare, YHC called a sudden change and directed all back to the Great Lawn for 10 Burpees OYO to seal the deal!

T-Claps to our IT guy for making the F3 website easy to find and the workouts well defined. Our newest FNG found F3 by searching the web and posted at the Mothership! Welcome Catfish! I think it has something to do with the Notre Dame scam, but who knows. Ask Rudy about it.
It was a pleasure having Cruiser from Houston post. Cruiser is an inspiration to us all, a true HIM! Cruiser, know that you and your family are always in our thoughts and prayers.
T-Claps to Woz for leading the bible study at 8:15 post coffeeteria.

YHC intended to create a beatdown to recognize Armed Forces Day.  The 5 of each exercise in the suicides represented the 5 branches of our great military.  Thanks to all who serve and to our veterans.

Thanks for posting with me today, for holding me accountable, and for making me a better husband, father, and man.

  • Side Effects and a side of bricks

Going back through the backblasts while looking for ideas – YHC ended up in the way back machine, re-reading several of the ideas from good ol’ Side Effects.  So that, coupled with one surprise YHC saw while doing a slow mosey through City Park looking for something different, would inspire the Saturday workout.  YHC pulled in to the parking lot, happy to see lots of our recent new faces.  Always refreshing to see new gentleman returning, bringing new ideas, new members, new enthusiasm.  Thank you Pai Gow, Dry Rub, Mambi!  Keep it coming!

5:30 – start with the disclaimer, and welcome to our FNG.  Challenge issued to the PAX to try to learn about our cohort during the workout so we can start the naming with some ideas!  Then mosey off towards MOMA to get started.

    Warm Up:

Counts (and exercises?) are approximates.  But I think this is mostly right.

    • SSH x25
    • Windmills x12
    • Smurf Jacks x25
    • IW x25
    • Peter Parker x25
    • Floyd Mayweather x25
    • Parker Peter x25

Bear Crawl over to the lightpole.

    Route 66

Side Effects was always a fan of the Route 66.  One whole Sat AM workout was JUST Route 66.  6 of them, as I recall.  Just kept going down Esplanade Street.  Felt like it would NEVER END.

Outbound – Squat Jumps.  1x at first light pole, 2X at the next, 3x, 4x, …. up to 11x at the end.  Al Gore on the netural ground for the 6.

Inbound – Merkins.  1x, 2x, …. up to 11x back at the water fountain.  Plank and wait for the 6.

Heat is here.  Humidity is out in force.  Everyone Hydrate, por favor…

    Tooth Fairy

Another Side Effects special.  Irkins on the side MOMA stairs.  1x on the first stair, 2x on the second, 3x, 4x, … stopping at 10x.  The stairs go up to 14 (which is the expected measurement), but YHC audibled for the sake of time.

4 groups (causing mass confusion, which YHC incorrectly blamed on bumbling PAX when it was, in fact, YHC who created this chaos through poor instructions).  Whatever.  Each PAX ended up cycling through the 4 stations.  Tooth Fairy was the timer.

    • Tooth Fairy
    • Continous Lunges
    • Continuous Dying Cockroach
    • Wall Sit

    Mosey back to the Fountain

    Fountain Times

(or “Get in the way of the other morning group”)

    • Right Leg Step-up x20
    • Box Jump x10
    • Left Leg Step-up x20
    • Derkins x10
    • Dips x20
    • Irkins x10

    Mosey off to the Refinery.

    Refinery

Side Effects always pushed us to get stronger, especially with Pull Ups.  7 stations.  Everyone partner up (PAX managed to get this right)

    • Burpees x12 (timer)
    • Jumpin’ the Shark
    • Pull Ups
    • Box Jumps
    • Dips
    • Knee-Ups
    • Merkins

Everyone made it through one station.  (Thanks, Gabrielle, for the extra help to get YHC up to the pull up bar those last reps)

    The Surprise

YHC had been cutting time short on some exercises to reserve time for one surprise, which he’d noticed on a drive through the park the night before.  More Bricks.  YHC has decided that adding bricks to the workout is a Good Thang, and plans to do it more.  And it so happens there was an unguarded pile o’ bricks right inside Tools Wall.  So everyone grab a pair.  (Much mumble chatter about who’s bricks were bigger.  CHILDREN.  PAY ATTENTION).

    • Newton’s Cradle x20
    • Jack Webbs: 1 Merkin: 2 Brick Presses.  OYO.  Go as far as you can.  YHC called time after 8:16
    • Shoulder Tabs x20

Return the bricks just ahead of the park ranger arriving in his golf cart…

Quick stop on the Tool Wall for Calf Raises x25 and Monkey Humpers x31.

Mosey back to the Main Lawn, and one final sprint back to the flag.

Lots of announcements to get through: Bible Study, Babycakes Game, Bar-a-thon, Summer Series, Summer cookout.  No shortage of F2 events coming up – hope to see everyone out!

Count-off and Name-o-rama.  Then naming of the FNG.  Hoochey was a close 2nd, but the winner was Thigh Master, quickly shortened to just “Thighs”, coming from Suzanne Sommers, via Three’s Company.  And I don’t recall how we ended up on Three’s Company for him – but the name stuck.  Welcome aboard Thighs!

Thanks for the opportunity to lead!

Mosey on to the track for an SFx Special.  Partner up.  Pax 1 sprints a 200 meters while Pax 2 jogs across the infield to meet him.  Flap jack and meet on the other side.  Each team completed 1600 meters. #CrowdPleaser

Mosey back the Great Lawn, for some Cinco De Mayo inspired Dora.  YHC knew there was no way were were finishing, but that didn’t keep us from trying.  Partner up.  This was the plan:

    • 100 Ocho-Count Body Builders
    • 200 Mexican Jumping Beans
    • 300 Moribundo Cucaraches

A few teams made it through the Body-Builders and into the Jumping Beans.

Sprint back to the flag for COT.  Welcome to our FNG Stooge and T-Claps to The Hokey Pokey for the EH.  Big Coffeeteria afterwards with 17 Pax.  T-claps to Bogey for buying with his NCAA winnings and T-Claps to Rudy and Fracsac for paying their burpee debt.  Bible Study with Woz on Q next week at 8:15.

  • Sweating on a Saturday wit “EMOM” and Dem!

EMOM and DEM (you might have to be a “yat” to get it)

What an awesome day to luck out as a fill in Q!  26 men decided to show up at the mothership for a Sat sweat which I wasn’t sure I had prepared to deliver.  But non the less the disclaimer was given and the Pax headed out, with one FNG in our group.

We moseyed passed the grant lawn, with a few expected mumbles, for a longer run than most might have anticipated to then circle up next to the baby foundry and warm up.

    All in cadence:

    SSH x 25

    Slow toe touches x 25

    Windmills x 15

    Mnt Climbers x 25

    Shoulder Taps x 25

Then we broke up into 7 groups (6×4 and 1×2) in order to utilize the foundry tools (some felt it was “too” close for comfort and modified):

    2 rounds of:

    Pull ups

    Incline push ups

    Step ups

    Dips

    Jump overs

    Hangs (some added leg crunches)

Timer was 10 burpees (Hawg continued to encourage the ensure the over head clap was “heard” for good measure of performance).

The PAX was ready for a 3rd round but there was a plan in place and we had a lot of work to complete, so mosey back to the great lawn.

4 groups (2×7 and 2×6) Attack the corners with added burpees in the center x 2

Each group started on a corner and completed exercise and reps prescribed by the QIC – then rotate (running) to the next corner while leaving corner #1 would run to center of lawn complete 5 burpees before going to corner #2, from #2 run long side to #3, from #3 run to center of lawn complete 5 burpees before heading to #4 then run long side to #1……repeat!

    #1 20 sqt jumps

#2 10 each arm alternating push ups for total of 20

    #3 20 V Ups

    #4 20 Shoulder taps

NOW, Pax was well oiled and lubricated, ready to finish strong!

EMOM – EVERY MINUTE ON THE MINUTE

QIC was nervous as there was just 20 minutes on the clock and there was no time to waste……had the PAX assemble in groups along the benches then barked out the instructions.

15 Box Jumps…..cross the street and wait.

Full Sprint to third tree (designated with big branch) and back!

    Bear Crawl out…..same tree

    Kong Back…..cross the street

    10 Burpees

Every minute on the minute – So the faster you complete each THANG the more rest you get BUT the clock never stops for an expected 20 minutes of continuous effort!

Pax (including the QIC) may have underestimated our fitness level as the 1st round was easier than expected BUT we all figured out quickly that rounds 2 and 3 kicked out butts!  Unfortunately we were not going to have enough time to complete the 4th round so instead of cheating the PAX out of the total 60 minutes we all showed up for, the QIC quickly transition to a bit of MARY –

    20 4 count flutter kicks

    1 minute of plank

Then we headed back to the flag with pride that we all left a lot of sweat behind for Your Emom n dem!

    Circle Up – count off

Today we had an FNG – now known as “Wetsuit”, big shout out of respect (54 as I recall), he came and hung with the group completing our stroll through the park.  No doubt I may have missed the opportunity of a more rounded “waterpick” name but maybe Wetsuit will bring an FNG that is a water skiing dentist!

NameOrama – Intentions and closing prayer of thanksgiving!  God Bless!

Planting a seed – Please check your family calendars for the month of July – looking to coordinate a F2 event where we can expand our camaraderie in a NON workout atmosphere, notice I didn’t say sweat as this would be Summer in NOLA  .  I’d like to suggest a Saturday afternoon, somewhere central for a BBQ with family friendly games.  July 14, 21 or 28.  More details to come!

  • Trifecta of Anniversaries

Rewind 3 years ago to a rainy Saturday morning in April when YHC was coaxed into coming to his first F3 workout, standing in the dark amid the mud and a bunch of dudes calling each other by goofy names.  Not exactly the best way to spend a Saturday morning but I went with the flow since my buddy Amensty assured me it would be way more fun than my usual morning jog.  Just a few minutes in, I quickly learned what a burpee was and silently cursed whoever invented it.  The rest of the workout went about the same and an hour later, after almost bailing mid-way, I was still standing, feeling a newfound sense of accomplishment.

Three years and umpteen burpees later, there I was standing in the same spot preparing to lead 16 other men through a workout that would not only touch on the greatest hits of the past few years, but also pay homage to the NOLA Tricentennial celebration going on throughout the city.  Let’s face it, 300 reps of an exercise is way better than 3.  Weather was 60 degrees with clear skies, the optimal conditions for running around and testing the limits of our almost late model chassis.  The PAX had a good mix of guys from The World and Uptown along with a visitor, F3 Thibodaux, currently living China, previously from N.C., originally from the NO area.  Here’s what went down:

    Warmup on The Great Lawn:

    • SSH x30
    • Burpees x3
    • IW x20
    • Burpees x3  (“I see where this is going” -The Peanut Gallery)
    • Arm Circles x20
    • Burpees x3
    • Windmill x20
    • Burpees x3
    • Low Country Crab x20
    • Burpees x10 (Expect the unexpected…learned that in my first workout)

Next up, a mosey to The Foundry for some pimping.  Here we knocked out 3 rounds of PIMPS OYO:

    • Pull Ups x5
    • IW x10
    • Merkins x15
    • Plank Jacks x20
    • Squats x25

Mosey towards the museum and hook a left in the grass not far from the NOLA 300 sign.  This is one of 4 signs erected around town to commemorate the 300th anniversary of New Orleans.  Since the Tricentennial celebration has been in full swing the past few weeks, YHC thought we’d acknowledge that with some Dora 3-3-3.  This involved partnering up, with partner #1 running (approx 30 yds?) to the NOLA 300 sign, cranking out 3 burpees, and running back while partner #2 keeps a cumulative count of:

    • 300 Hello Dollys (single count)
    • 300 Alternating Shoulder Taps (count each tap)
    • 300 LBT

This proved to be a circuit that kept the PAX busy for a while.  YHC often dreaded the drawn-out circuits of Dora, elevens, etc in the early days but now have a love/hate feeling when doing them….always hate when they start but smile when they’re done cause they push us more than one would typically done solo.  After this, we made our way over to the water fountain for hydration and a little planking.  From there, a mosey back towards the same area but this time we lined up along with neutral ground curb, facing the NOLA 300 sign where we knocked out:  100 Rocky Balboas OYO, bear crawl to opposite curb for 10 merkins, then backwards bear crawl back.  Rinse and repeat twice for a total of 3 rounds and 300 Rocky Balboas.  YHC heard zero mumble chatter on this so apparently/hopefully it had the PAX in a zone.

Next up we circled up in a nearby field, this time in the shade just for Rudy, for a round of The Suck.  For those unfamiliar, it’s a fairly new circuit we’ve done a few times that always seems to bring excitement and cheers from the PAX.  The Suck consists of SSHx6, Jump Squatsx6, Merkinsx6, as many times as possible in 3 minutes, calling out your count after each circuit.  Typically this is best enjoyed with 2-3 rounds broken up by a minute of rest in between, but time was ticking and the PAX had to settle for just a single round.  T-claps to the crew for pushing hard and to those who approached the 8,9,10? mark.

As we started to make our way back to the flag, there was just enough time to pay homage to one last anniversary.  It just so happened to be YHC’s 17th wedding anniversary so what better way to celebrate than 17 burpees.  The commemoration of me losing my bachelorhood was followed by a mosey back to base where we called it a morning.

COT included YHC thanking the PAX for pushing me over the past 3 years to become stronger, faster, healthier, and a better leader.  I’ve reaped many more benefits from this than I did jogging on my own.  Prayed for safe travels for Thibodaux, Mahatma’s two youngest sons, and a few other things YHC was too woozy to recall.

Moleskin:  I often recall something I read a few years ago in a backblast from a fellow PAX in South Carolina (?) that hit his one year mark of posting with F3.  Among many other things, he said something along the lines of, “…I used to think my glory days were behind me but I now realize they are yet to come.”  I’ll have to try to dig that out of the archives.  It was a cool and inspiring post.

Thanks for the opportunity to lead, and most of all thanks for all the great beatdowns over the past few years.

  • R.E.D Friday – The Collin Hero WOD

    Conditions:  Overcast and 61.

Perfect morning to get some work in.  I showed up about 12 minutes early to find Hand Grenada had beaten me to the AO.  He helped me set up the “equipment” for today’s Hero WOD.  (Thanks to Triple Shift for the buckets of water he stashed by the pumps and thanks to Jefferson Parish for not removing said buckets).

In all, 8 men posted this morning to pay tribute to our service men and women deployed around the world.  We were honored to have two Veterans with us – Mahatama and Kimchi.  Thank you for your service.

    Warm-up

    SSH x 31; Peter Parker x 31; Windmills x 15; Forward Arm Circles x 15; Morocan Night Club (sans squat) x 15; Backward Arm Circles x 15

The Thang – Collin Hero WOD

The goal is 6 rounds in 35 minutes.  Push yourself to do more than that.

    • 400 meter Rock Carry – Use a rock between 20 and 30 pounds
    • 12 Push Press – Use a rock between 40 and 60 pounds
    • 12 Box Jumps – Can be modified to step ups
    • 12 Sumo Deadlift Hi-Pulls – Use Bucket full of water

Impressive performances all around.  Mahatma, the unofficial king of R.E.D Friday workouts, got in 8 rounds.  Kimchi and YHC got in 7, All others got in 6 more or less.

    • T-claps to Abacus for wearing Red to R.E.D. Friday.  The man gets it.
    • T-claps to HVAC for not only getting in some running before the workout, but timing his pre-thang run so that it ended exactly at 0530
    • T-claps to Hand Grenada for posting consistently since Walley EH’d him (and for not parking illegally).
    • T-claps to Kimchi for coming out on his day off – he’s worked 14 straight 12 hour days or 12 straight 14 hour days…I’m not sure, but either way it’s hard.
    • T-claps to Abacus, Two Yutes, and Rev Sox.  Their consistency and growth is impressive.
    • And T-claps to Mahatma for being a beast and pushing us all.  When I grow up I want to be like him.

  • The House of Pain

4 of us gathered around an invisible site flag awaiting that 0530 start time when out of nowhere we hear screeching tires and a revved up engine coming in hot to the parking lot, blinker included.
Who could it be? none other than our very own (or uptown’s own, we’ll never know) Jingle Vader!

With 5 strong, a brief disclaimer was said, and we were off.

  • To your left, no my left….Get Some!

From the start (a bit of humility and learning) set in for the QIC as 16 men gathered and heard the disclaimer by none other than Craig…..Oh wait a minute a.k.a. Mahatma-Ice.  So it begins –

    DISCLAIMER

Mosey to towards the big field for warm up – while listing to chirping complaints that “running” is only supposed to on certain F3 workout days.

    Warm up

    SSH x 30

    Seal Jacks x 25

Down to your 6 – no stand up (to moans from the Pax primarily Rudy and FracSac, as if the extra effort was going to cause a little more sweat).

Once back up Hillbilly x 15

    ISW x 10

Austin Butt Kickers (again communication break down as to left arm out, “what leg” back.  QIC may be better at demonstrating the exercise, it finally begins) x 20

    Dive Bombers x 5 (4 cnt)

    Bicycle Kicks x  20

Now for the reason we all got up and came out this morning… The Thang-

    1st Field Event:

2 man team – 100 Burpees total split “evenly” between them.  (1) did Burpees will the other went out 2 tree distances doing Bear Crawl then back doing Kongs – Switch the effort.  I think most got a shot at doing the out and back twice.  I teamed with Frac, he was determined to add in additional Burpees thinking I might have gotten more than him (I’ve come to learn, he likes them!)  Can’t speak for any other teams.

    2nd Field Event:

Pax broken up into 4 teams of 4 –

ZigZag Squat Run; Indian Style (with some kind of audible to note that Pax member completed their run and next Pax to go).  Distance 4 trees with the entire team to sprint back. QIC noted after the start of this “thang” that the losing team had to complete 5 Burpees (TripleShift’s team lost – complaints about brotherhood so all teams gave the 5).

    3rd Field Event:

    2 teams of 8 –

Body Tent Low Crawl – Distance 5 trees (Again complaining from the field that there was some kind of “big” brother rules as to the line of completion for everyone to sprint back) so again PAX all participated in Burpees

4th Field Event – Back to 4 teams of 4

Low Crawl – Frog Hop – Low Crawl – Frog Hop….. Distance 4 trees.  (Bit of a communication break down but PAX figured it out and the event was completed)  Can’t recall the losers but I think the understanding was we all shared in the Burpees.

5th Field Event – Pax back to 2 teams of 8

Plank Body Hurdles (Indian Run) – losing team busted butt to make it close but circled up to start Burbees – somehow the brotherhood of sharing the pain was now gone with the other team heading off to get water…..Rudy called them out and most jumped in grinded out a few.

    Slow mosey towards fountain –

Pax circled the Fountain with QIC wanting to create 8 2 man teams – seemed easy enough….”look to your left and that’s your teammate; well my left!  QIC learned a lesson as to using a count off to establish PAX position then match 1&2…… (this will be used next time for sure).  Now add in that we pissed off the legal training crew, encroaching on their space – we only needed a small section but this might be why women aren’t mixed in with F3 groups, they pick up their stuff and stormed off, clearing the area.  (When Qing in future, I’ll be more sensitive).

    1st Fountain Team AMRP

While one member did box jumps the other hopped 1st set of steps then 2 Burpees at landing area then hopped as many steps at a time until reaching the top landing 3 Burpees, run back – SWITCH  x 2

    2nd Fountain AMRP

Same team effort as above except Shoulder Taps 1st, then Durkins while teammate hops the steps and does Burpees.

With about 7 minutes to go – Mosey back towards the flag – TripleShift was pushing the pace so we had enough time to detour to the big field for some last minute Mary-

    LBC x 20 (4cnt)

    Scuba kicks (Flutter Kicks) x 20 (4cnt)

    WWII – Sit ups x 4 (4cnt)

Pax member reminded (actually it might have been a complaint) that QIC had passed the 7:30 mark so the fun had to end with a quick mosey back to the flag.

COP, announcements, no intentions – closing prayer.

Gents thank you for the opportunity to lead (and learn) today.  No doubt God gives us the blessing of the present to be embrace and enjoy.  I’m want to give a shout out to 2-Utes for getting me involved with F3!
