A chilly and quiet Audubon Park welcomed the pax! To the levy departed where an oncoming train dictated a change in route up Lower Line to St Charles, to Carrolton, to SB. The audible route added an extra .25 mile to the run. Pace maxed at 10:09. Devised a new aspect, the IR Layup. Pax on IR may saunter straight to SB and then return with rest of pax.

Venti 23285 – from Sea Man
A wet post cold front morning awaited the Venti as we ventured down the path! Devoid of the usual cast of characters, Moana managed to make the lone angry cycler irascible. In response to “ON YOUR LEFT”, Moana instinctively moved to his left blocking our nemesis incurring his disgust and wrath as he eventually slid by! At the Cooter Brown turn off, Badmoon riddled with guilt from Maria, continued to run, while the rest of us sojourned on to Star Bucks. StarBucks didn’t have any dark brew available but complete indifference and random instagram beverages. Bad Moon joined back up at Audubon and St Charles!

Venti – Pumpkin Spce – from Sea Man
A health group mustered and we started a minute late, but hey it’s the Venti! We greeted the oder couple on their morning walk, passed the wife and witness protection husband as they made their lap. Along the levy path an angry cyclist zoomed by. Discussion meander from Roofing to Solar Panels
*Disclaimer – the comfortable pace of the Venti is a great intro for those returning for hiatus or as an introduction.

Split Waves – from Sea Man
A warm damp morning awaited the Tsunami as we ventured down the path! The Tsunami Express broke away from Tsunami Metamucil. The Express ventured down levy, back up oak at the 8:30 – 9:30 pace for 4.5-5 miles. Team Metamucil split at the levy going around the fly and doubling back around the park at 10:20ish pace for 3.5 miles.

The not so secret Wally Sprint – from Fracsac
The Wally Sprint AO is no longer a secret, as could be seen with 17 posting today. Dinghy scoped it out last week and inevitably reported back to Moana that it was indeed an acceptable place to post. So Moana put his EH hat on and brought in a new member to our cult….err….Group!
10 Pax sprinted under the direction of Pai Gow while rest did Knots or S&M. There’s something for everyone on Tuesday at Pontiff, so come on out and then hit up the Discipline is Destiny discussion after.
COT
NMM
Welcome Judy P! It’s a reference to a judge and his last name is Long. Apparently we need help in the naming category. TCLAPS to Moana for the EH!
Oh, and Strava tells me I’m a local legend in the 400M at Pontiff. Think you can take the title? C’Mon!

If your being criticized! – from Sea Man
A warm damp morning awaited the Venti as we ventured down the path! We greeted the oder couple on their morning walk, passed the wife and witness protection husband as they made their lap. Along the levy path we were passed by 1 semi polite cyclist, and greeted the Ochsner engineer on his way to work. At the Cooter Brown turn off, Badmoon riddled with guilt from Maria, continued to run, while the rest of us sojourned on to Star Bucks.
*Disclaimer – the comfortable pace of the Venti is a great intro for those returning for hiatus or as an introduction.
Of note, the Venti started after a colleague of my wife, committed suicide, leaving behind a wife and 2 kids. The slower pace is to allow more F2, but enough F1 to justify a coffee
