A crisp Christmas morning at the Wolfpack Mountain with 3 PAX: Sogo, Erector Set, Catfish (Q).
Started with a mosey around the block with some high knees, butt kicks, skips, and karaoke. Ended up at the base of the mountain for some SSH and imperial squat walkers. Down to faces for Peter Parkers, Catalinas, and Parker Peters. Back up to feet, took the stairs to the top.
At the top, did a partner Dora with 50 Dr. W’s, 100 burpees, and 150 leg raises. Partner ran down the steps and back up the other side while other pax exercised.
Down to the benches for bulgarians, derkins, bulgarians (other leg), dips.
Lovely day at the Stomp with 11 PAX: Tool, Kuch, Sheetrock, High Rise, Abacus, Da Parish, Jesus Juice, Snooze, Bongo, RevSox, Catfish (Q).
Did a fairly standard run w/ burpees every 6 minutes. No complications, rest intervals, etc. Run, then 10 burpees on the 6 minute marks (6, 12, 18, 24, etc.). 20 minutes out, 20 minutes back.
Did some Mary with LBCs, Leg Raises, and Dr. Ws.
CoT. Broke a sweat, despite the chill! Thanks to all who attended!
Comfortably cool out at the Renny with 8 PAX: Beignet, Power Up, Belloq, Heisenberg, Dax, Sogo, Bangs, Catfish (Q).
Warmed up with Abe Vigoda, Grass Grabbers, SSH, and 8-Counts.
Up to the top of the stairs for a nice long boat pose, then did some deep sea divers on the way down – hold a declining plank pose at each step, do hip slappers in cadence, go down a step after each set, rinse and repeat all the way to the bottom.
Warmed up the core with Aqua Mans at the bottom of the steps, then Peter Parker Peters.
Moved to the fountain. Started with Bulgarian split squats (right leg), then bear crawled in cadence around the fountain. Bulgarians (left leg), bear crawl, then Dips, then bear crawl, then Derkins, then bear crawl, then jump squats. Circled back up on the steps for nickels and dimes (burpees and Abe Lincolns).
Moved to the grass in back of the museum for abbreviated round of Bruce Lees (hammers, leg lifts, LBCs, penguins, crunchy frogs). On to the wall for 5 rounds of Sunday Mornings, then did a round of 100s.
Chilly morning out at the Joy with 5 PAX: Hokie, Chips, Fracsac, Kenner Brah, Catfish (Q).
Started with the quick standard warmup – Abe Vigoda, Grass Grabbers, SSH, Imperial Walkers, 8-Counts.
Grabbed blocks and paired off for a Farmer’s Carry Dora (100 burpees, 200 overhead claps, 300 flutter kicks (2 is 1), while partner did a farmer’s carry with two coupons between light posts). Once done, did some curls in cadence to keep the arms a’ burnin’.
Next, PAX lined up near bike path for solo OYO exercises. Rifle Carry up the levee, then 40 chest presses, 30 curls, 20 thrusters, 10 blockpees (all 1 is 1). Rifle carry back down.
Lined up on grass east of path for Lt. Danger – Incrementing Lunges (2 is 1), squats, and merkins (all with block). Incremented in 2s.
Back to starting zone, Block Webb for the finish. CoT. Coffeeteria at Panera.
My first attendance at the Joy. Great spot, great times, great weather!
Wet and wild at the Mothership with 12 PAX: fracsac, long haul, kuch, bogey, bangs, belloq, snooze, t-square, hokie, sogo, thumb war, catfish(Q).
Moseyed over to the Peristyle. Warmed up with Abe Vigodas, Grass Grabbers, and SSH. Moved to faces for Peter Parkers, Catlina Wine Mixers, and Parker Peters. Back to feet for self-love, then 8-counts to finish the warmup.
5 minutes of EMOM burpees, starting at eleven, then incrementing by one up to 15 (five minutes total). SSH to shake it off and keep the heart rate up.
Moved to sixes for core work with a round of Bruce Lees (Hammer, Leg Lifts, Crunches, Penguins, Crunchy Frogs, and 100s).
On to the columns for a timed leg massacre. Wall sit one min, then low slow squats. Wall sit one min, then donkey kicks. Wall sit one min, then monkey humpers, wall sit one min, then bonnie blairs. Fun! Occasionally shook it off with SSH between sets.
Circled back up on faces for Jack Webbs. Ran a lap around the Great Lawn, then Bat Wings (Arm Circles Forward, Arm Circles Backward, Overhead Claps, Seal Claps, and Moroccan Night Clubs).
Back to flag. 5 burpees OYO for the finish. CoT, then park cleanup.

Nice cool morning at the Swolefest with 16 PAX: Thumb War, Belloq, Triple Shift, Walleye, West Nile, YaMamaNem, Breadsticks, Jesus Juice, Kuch, Pop Tart, High Rise, Saban, Heartaquack, Tool, Sheetrock, Catfish (Q).
Warmed up with SSH, Peter Parker Peters, Mountain Climbers, and 8-counts.
Rifle carried over to the field for 11s. On the one end, blockpees, then rifle carry to the other side. On the other, crossover merkins (2 is one). Murder bunny back to the other side. Breadsticks destroyed his block in the process, so he and Saban are both officially “block crushers.” This was a real time killer, so stopped about halfway through, then circled up to grab some curls.
Moseyed to the foundry for stations – pullups, goblet squats, flutter kicks, Chest Presses, and lunges(with block). Stopped at one round due to time constraints, then rifle carry back to the starting position.
At starting position, did some block-assisted American Hammers and LBBCs. Right on time for COT.
Appreciate everyone’s efforts today, definitely did some experimentation with the 11s, and I know everyone was positively THRILLED to do Murder Bunnies again. Breadsticks was so thrilled that he murdered his block. Stud!
Lovely RED Friday this morning at the mountain with 10 PAX: Highrise, Walleye, Tool, YaMamaNem, Sheetrock, Saban, Jesus Juice, Dax, Doubloon (FNG), Catfish (Q).
Started with SSH, Toy Soldiers, Imp squat walkers, 8-counts.
Lined up on the path. Indian run to the base of the mountain.
Up to top of the mountain. Did a wallsit/leg rotation, holding wall sit for 60 seconds, then doing low slow squats, wallsit for 50 seconds, then bonnie blairs, wallsit 40 seconds, then Donkey Kicks, wallsit 30 seconds, then monkey humpers.
Down to other side of mountain for Bruce Lee – American Hammer, Leg Raises, LBCs, Penguins, Crunchy Frogs, and 100s. Did some peter parker peters to complete the core grind.
Back up to the mountain top for derkins, then mosey back to base camp. EMOM burpees 5 minutes, starting with 11, incrementing up by one each minute to 14.

Getting wet and wild at the Mothership with 17 PAX: Rudy, Vagabond, Jingle Vader, Thumb War, Apostle, Thomas the Train, Disclaimer, Bogey, Double Fudge, Logo, Door Dash, Sogo, Abacus, Scantron, Heart A-Quack, Band Camp (visitor from Houston, TX), and Catfish (Q).
Our brother Fracsac was scheduled to Q, but he was absent due to a work-related offshore stint. Thus, we opted for a maritime-themed, burpee-inclusive beatdown.
Started with 10 burpees OYO, then a quick mosey over to the parking lot across from the flag zone. Warmed up with a quick abe vigoda, grass grabber, and SSH. 10 more burpees OYO.
Moseyed to front of the museum to the base of the steps, where we did some imperial squat walkers. 10 more burpees OYO. Headed to the top of the steps. and everyone got into boat position, held for 60 seconds. Next, did a round of Deep Sea Divers (decline merkin position at top of steps, 10 hip slappers in cadence, move hands down a step, 9 hip slappers in cadence, rinse and repeat until reach bottom of steps).
At the bottom of the museum steps, on our sixes for Flutter Kicks, Oblique Crunches (left and right side in cadence), and Crab Jacks. 10 more burpees OYO.
Moved to fountain for box jumps, irkins, right leg step ups, dips, left leg step ups, and derkins. 10 more burpees OYO.
Moseyed over to the field for Killer Bees, – bear crawl 3 tree lengths, broad jump back, stop every 5 jumps and do 3 burpees. LBCs waiting for the six, then Starfish Crunch (spread eagle on six, right hand to left leg, left hand to right leg, in cadence) and Aqua Mans (on faces chest to the ground, lift arms and legs for an SSH-type movement in cadence). Did another round of Killer Bees, where Crab Walk was substituted for Bear Crawl (i.e. crab walk 2 tree lengths, broad jump back, stop every 5 jumps and do 3 burpees). Box cutters and V-ups waiting for the six. One more round of regular Killer Bees (2 tree lengths for the bear crawl this time), then Gas Pumpers. 10 burpees OYO.
Finished up on the field with some Failure to Launch (hold Al Gore for a countdown, then jump in the the air, back to Al Gore, repeat), then some Monkey Humpers. Moseyed back to the parking lot where we warmed up. Plank Jacks, Mountain Climbers, then 10 burpees OYO.
Another fine day at the mountain with 22 PAX: Bieber, Angie’s List, Peppa, 86, Squeal, Apostle, Tube Steak, Seaman, Gabrielle, Hawgcycle, NipTuck, Landing Strip, Moana, Bones, Mr. Peabody, Brushburn, Willie, Tinkles, El Wire, Flaming Lips, Bad Moon, Catfish (Q).
Took a brief mosey around the block and circled up on the usual lawn for a warmup – SSH, Goofballs, Peter Parker, Mountain Climbers, Parker Peters, and Imperial Walkers. Moseyed over to the base of the mountain.
First Level – Did some Nickels and Dimes with 5 low jump squats, 10 bonnies (2 is 1), and SSH waiting for the end of the minute. 5 rounds, then ran up to level 3, forwards on the flats, backwards up the inclines. Plank jacks waiting for the six.
Third Level – Did a round of Bruce Lee – American Hammer, Leg Raises, LBCs, Penguins, Crunchy Frog, 100s. 30 Reps for all cadence exercises (everything except 100s). Ran up to level 5, forwards on the flats, backwards up the inclines.
Fifth Level – Nickels and Dimes again with 5 Burpees, 10 hand-release Merkins, and Shoulder Taps waiting for the minute. Did 3 rounds, then ran to the top, forwards on the flats, backwards up the inclines.
The Top – Monkey Humpers for the peak. Back down the stairs to the base, then to the flag. 7 burpees OYO for the finish. COT, Coffeeteria @ PJ’s.
Always a pleasure at the mountain, and glad to finally get a set of Bruce Lees in!

Hiked over to the hill for 11s. One side burpees, other side Catalinas, with five thrusters on each pass over the top of the hill. Burned up a lot of time with this one.
Moseyed back to the rock area. Grabbed some rock curls and did a rock-enhanced round of Failure to Launch (hold Al Gore position while holding rock, Q counts down, jump squat when countdown complete). Moved to sixes for flutter kicks, then back to feet for rock lunges (hold rock while doing lunges). Back to flag for COT.
